I bought this for my five and-a-half year old so that we could work on her reading and math skills over the Summer. We received the item about 3 weeks ago, and it has gone EVERYWHERE with us! She even SLEEPS with it! I am so impressed with the things that she's learning already! She used to ask me the answers to the math questions until I showed her that the 'boxes' were there for checking herself.
She has progressed (according to the LeapFrog Connect screens) to a second grade level and hasn't even completed Kindergarten yet!!
I LOVE the Leapster and cannot sing praises high enough.
